The following letter is being delivered in the House of Caius Julius Caesar. It reads;
“From Marcus Cicero, son of Marcus, to Gaius Caesar, son of Gaius, Consul of Rome; greetings.
Dearest Caesar! It has been a very long time since we’ve had some time to relax, enjoy a cup of wine and delve into a serious conversation, don’t you agree? From my part, I find this hideous oversight and so I decided to correct it.
I understand you heavy schedule and I think you are well aware of my own – not sleep or work prevents anyone who wants a word with me from seeing me, and thus I rarely have some quality time to do something else. As these days there’s such a time, I wondered whether or not you’d be available for a visit. If not, I can march by your mansion at your convenience. With amity,
Marcus Tullius Cicero”
