Publius Decius Subulo was surprised at the viciousness of the attack which Quintus Sextus Valerius had, as advocate for the prosecution, pressed home with such effectiveness. He chewed his lower lip for a moment, glad that he was not in Favonius' situation (at least, not that he knew of, anyway!), then turned to the Defense's bench.
"Lucius Vipsanius Agrippa, present now your case in rebuttal."
