That is a very interesting question Safiria and not something I've ever really thought about before. The only comparable thing I can think of is the 6,000 crucifixions on the Appian Way after the Spartacus rebellion.
Maybe it's because we have Caesar's own writing/propaganda on the subject, but not for other highly successful generals. In fact, the only other successful general that comes to mind whose own words are still preserved is Marcus Aurelius, and he was more interested in philosophy. Perhaps things would be different if we had something from Pompey or Sulla's autobiography.
