"I had no idea that he was taking liberties with you." Sextus hung his head, paused for a second. "I know that I have spoiled him rotten and very rarely discouraged him from his actions. I suppose that the relationship between you and I made him feel he could bend the rules with you too. I have talked with him and he now understands. I promise he will from this point on respect your space."
Idris could see that Sextus felt really bad about what had happened and so he tried to lighten the mood. "Don't blame yourself too much, no harm was done. The lad is young and full of life. Now that you have explained the situation to him I don't think there's a need for us to discuss this again. Okay?"
Sextus sighed, smiled and nodded. Just then their breakfast arrived and the two men ate like starved wolves.
