Wintermist, I actually should have metioned the seeds. They are used as a spice and the leaves are used as an herb. The seeds are used to chew and sweeten the breath. The leaves in cooking. Here in my climate I can't grow it in the summer as temperatures over 75 F cause it to bolt and the leaves to become bitter and tough. It's Spanish name is Cilantro.
