As Corvus noted in the previous post, the group got off to a great start. This is my first role-playing group, and I'm having a blast!

For others out there who might think they'd like to try something like this, I would like to invite you to visit The Republic Reborn. It is a role-playing game set in ancient Rome, shortly after the deaths of the Gracchi. Fate has eliminated Marius and Sulla from the picture before they could rise to prominence...now it is up the the role playing characters to decide the future--and fate--of the Republic.

June is a great time to join. New player characters who join now will receive a "free gladiator" as part of their retinue. This will allow them to participate in the upcoming Ludi Romani (normally, this costs player characters 6,000 Denarii out of their purses, so it is a great deal indeed!)
