    As Mr. Spok would say!
I've gotta admit that in the videos that Silvia refers to, the bust looks much more like Caesar than in the full-front picture I've seen in various websites. When Luc Long is holding the bust, especially when it is sideways (but not exactly in profile) it does call to memory the most known "idealized" portraits of JC. But still... why there isn't any name of the experts who confirmed it was Caesar?
What intrigues me is that in many articles on Arles' bust there are references to Turin' portrait (which is supposed to be the marble copy of a bronze mask made right before or after JC's death... a much skinnier Caesar.
Here's the link to see Turin's portrait:

    http://www.museoantichita.it/museo.htm

then click on "raccolte", then "collezioni", then on the bottom right you'll see a marble bust (the second last picture) and finally on the bottom left (the first "card" from the left) on the same bust. You can finally see Turin's bust.

What do you think? Are Arles' and Turin's busts of the same person?
