"She is, however, a huntress."
-------------------------------------
[a fable on showing mercy:]
The king of all beasts is lion;
His might and valour make him grand.
His lioness also scion,
Doth, however, hunt in their land.
The lion, when hunger grips him,
Reclines in tall grasses and waits.
The lioness prowls forests grim.
She sniffs the air and hesitates
While Artos doth lumber and stray
After his wife and cubs at play.
Hissed lioness, "Hurry up please!
I would not dare to hurt thy kin,
But must scurry on to appease
The hunger crawling on my skin
Before I regretfully kill
You against my weakening will."
Therefore, a queen should wisely show
An enemy whose gait is slow
The mercy that is hers to grant...
Unless a blood feud she doth want.
