    Excalibur is one of my favorite movies!

    Sure it's anachronistic as all hell, but so are most movie versions of the Arthur legend.

    View it as just plain campy fun, especially watching Nichol Williamson practically chewing the scenery all through the film. Plus, any film that has a film score consisting of mostly the Carmina Burana and Wagner's Funeral March of Siegfried is just full of win.
