"Alright, let us hear it, you've dallied long enough," Cyprianus called out to the jury foreman. Reluctantly, and with much hissed conversation, the foreman stepped forward and whispered into the Iudex's ear. Nodding, the Iudex stood.
"Very well. After a long and controversial deliberation, the jury finds in favor of the defense. The suit by Balbus is dismissed."

Arbiter's Note: Due to the recent absence of Catulus, I went ahead and did up the numbers. Supposing that Catulus gave a maximum ranking to Gallus' speech (a perfect 10), and the opposite to Vitulus (a 1), the verdict was still, very narrowly, in favor of the defense (final score of 48.33).
