My opinion, which is longstanding and has been expressed, is that there is no point revamping (or rewamping) the main page. Changing the color scheme is pointless, and achieves little. Real revamping would require changes only Jot can make, and he isn't going to make them.

The proposed color changes aren't "bad" but they are not an improvement, merely a change. And that doesn't seem worthwhile at all.
