I like the idea of a short and sweet festival. Too many of them tend to be too long and overwhelm the visitors. I also like the weekend of April 5-6. An auspicious day for Zagmuk! According to my Calendar, the new moon falls on the 5th. Apil says the 6th, but that's a small difference unless you're the astrologer! *G*

I have spent much of the day reading at the various links and also read most of "The Seven Tablets of Creation" by LW King (1902), which is the Enuma Elish. And yes... my eyes are bleeding!

I quite like the idea of a quiz on the early Sumerian inventions. Would you like me to start writing some short "Items" on some of them? Maybe we can get together and talk this around? I need to go back and revisit the lists that Apil and jojo presented.

And... I WILL bring the chicken! *G* Knowing the appetites of Apil and Alal-sin, I'd best bring a "Tub o' Chicken"!
