Thanks for the reminder Moonbeam. The following heritage sites are in Ontario, Canada, which is where I live (IRL as well as in the AW Americas):
Assabaska Ojibway Heritage Park has a transitional forest cover that includes plant and animal species found in the Northern Boreal Forest, the Southern Deciduous Forest, and the Western Prairie Parkland.
Manitoulin Island, located well off the north-central shores of Lake Huron, on the Canadian side of the border, is said to be the largest freshwater island in the world.
The Ojibway Nature Centre was constructed in 1974/75 and formally opened in 1976.
Petroglyphs Provincial Park is one of the most intriguing places I have ever visited.
Georgian Bay Islands National Park of Canada preserves
natural wonders and cultural treasures.
Eagle's Earth Cree and Ojibway Historical Centre is another wonderful place in Canada that takes an active part in preserving our Native Canadian heritage.
