Messalina smiled at Idris.

"How pleased I am to meet you," She cocked her head to one side. "But I say, I think I saw you earlier today in the forum. Or am I mistaken?"

Idris simply smiled and gave a slight bow.

"Well, Sextus, your taste in all things beautiful, be it art, music or men, never disappoints." She watched as the two men began to feast upon each other with their eyes.

She covered her eyes with her right hand and feigned a slight sigh.

"What is the matter Messalina?" Sextus said.

"Oh please it is nothing, just a slight headache." This time her sigh was stronger. "I am afraid you will have to excuse me. Too much sun I think and the only remedy is to lie in a dark room for at least four hours."

Idris saw through her ruse. "Must you go? We have only just met."

"Oh I know it is a bore but it is the only thing that works. But I tell you what. I will be recovered by dinner time. You must stay Idris and join us."

"I look forward to your return and recovery my Lady." He said.

Messalina struggled to her feet; Sextus jumped to her aid and helped her to the portico that lead to the front of the house.

"Have fun my love, and do everything that I would do and more." She pinched Sextus on the bottom.

As Messalina glided away with the sun and shadow playing peek-a-boo with her form Sextus laughed.

"What a woman." He then turned back to Idris and his smile turned to a full blown grin.
