If you happen to come across many medical explanations for how the Mayans treated themselves or even livestock, Dr. Hansen?
(And thank you for being here.)
To add to the stingless bees. It was my understanding of what we were taught about stingless bees is that they are not or can not be extensively 'farmed.' This being that their colonies are much smaller than our honey bee colonies as well as producing much less honey. For their own biology they do not seem to function on such a grand scale (50,000-70,000 bees in high honey flow). It was common for families to have a household hive though. Of course you being there first hand would know better about the possible yields. :)
Although Australia exports stingless bee honey. Not sure of their operation though.
