First of all, and this is an old one, but was pointed out to me tonight as still being an issue is the matter of Bran's Head. What happened was Artoros already went to Caer Ludd at the urging of Father Taren to dig up the head, then threw it in the English Channel (for lack of better word) as an act of defiance against the Celtic parthenon of gods and godesses. His announcement at the party was an act to get as many kings of Cornwall and Wales together to show them that pagan symbols are the way of the past, and Christianity is the way of the future. The only problem is that Artoros is pulled between his childhood mentor, Merlinus, his childhood friend, Nimue, and his new buddy, Father Taren. Both Nimue and Merlin have told Artoros that his thinking will get him and Britain in trouble, but Father Taren is whispering things into Artoros' ear that is tempting him to cross over. Right now the Head of Bran is safe with Nimue's parents.
The next item is Excalibur (Caladvwlch in Welsh)Arthur's sword. This Artoros doesn't yet have, and it is a good thing he hasn't seen combat yet in our story. This Nimue also possesses, and will be given to Artoros when the time is right. Have no fears because Artoros is still able to defend himself until then.
The Graal is not in his possession yet either, but there may be the beginnings of a search for that coming up soon as well. We are still working out the details, but keep tuned in and we certainly should have something.
Timeline in the story is about the third day. We should be heading off on the quest as soon as Peredur learns to ride and can fight on horseback, but I believe Peredur and Arianwen are on the third day of our story, the first being the arrival of the guests, the second being the day of the party, the third being the day Peredur defeated the Red Knight, and the night Merlinus and Nimue scolded Artoros and the fourth morning is when Peredur learned to ride a horse and spoke to Gornemant, Dindraine's father.
If anyone is afraid that they are behind, no worries about that either. You can either catch up in a short post, then post the current time, or you could skip it entirely. It is your choice and however you want to approach it is the best way.
I think that is a simple update on Artoros. I hope I didn't make anything murkier, but rather cleared things up.
Artoros
