Father Taren will be, if you allow, a personal confessor or family priest to Artoros. His superior is Bishop Dyfig of Careleon. Not a monk but simple, fervent (which might push him into scheming and possibly slimy) priest. He has a dislike for the continued belief in pagan religions and an irrational fear of magic, believing it from the devil.
