Here's a cool little trick I just found. As many here know, when scribes feature a hood, it shows up on that world's homepage. Only the 10 latest featured hoods or so are supposed to show up. But in reality, the previously featured places never drop off the list. And the list just keeps growing as new hoods are featured.

There is a way to "unfeature" hoods, though. Just go to the hood page you want to unfeature and put this in the browser's address bar, after the URL of the hood page:

    &modifyId=hood number&modifyAction=unfeature

Get the hood number from the URL of the hood page. For example, let's say I want to unfeature the Ancient Pueblo hood. The URL of that hood is:

    http://www.ancientworlds.net/aw/Places/Place/459402

I would go to that page and add "&modifyId=459402&modifyAction=unfeature" to the URL. The full URL would then look like this:

    http://www.ancientworlds.net/aw/Places/Place/459402&modifyId=459402&modifyAction=unfeature

When I go to that page, I see a message that says, "Would you like to unfeature this District?" If I click the Unfeature this District button, the Ancient Pueblo hood would be removed from the list of featured places on the Americas homepage.
