I have added an exterior chimney after seeing the images from New Echota. Also I can see that they were orienting their buildings into the prevailing winds and that is why all the windows are on the sides. It was to preserve warmth. I added heavy shutters to the windows on the front wall. That will work even better. I put another gutter and some downspouts on the front porch roof to help keep the stone platform dry and make it last longer. In truth that building would not look out of place in New Echota.
