    I'd say yes... and no... because at that time Rome gain the most power but it collapsed under it's weight... after Spartacus's sensational campaign Caesar stood and waited for the aftermath of Pompeius vs Crasus... and he got what he needed but it is said that once you get what you want you become the slave of your will and you start to just ''battle'' for more and more... and final it turns to an impossible desire and you loose everything... that's exactly what happened with Caesar... and impossible things for him to achieve was Cleopatra's love and the Peace between Rome's borders... more exactly... he wanted romans to understand his desire for Egypt and his feeling for Cleopatra... he got out of his
    ''jobs'' line of sight and the people could not be reasonable
    whit this fact... not even his son.... and from that point... the
    Republic started to a rapid fall....
