Following the direct link, I noticed the (older pre-site update) inherent page code doesn't seem to accept any font face or hex color changes some people use in their post titles. Like Ase said, it's not really a specific search tool. It's a content divider. However, it still works like a dream.. the drop-down spits out content according to type: Historical, Historical R&R, RP, etc.

About the issue of the top section/outdated (old) boards...

    The Boards of AncientWorlds

    -------------------------------------------------------------

The Valentine's Special issue of the Acta Diurna has been published!

    The Graffiti Board - ( 0 threads / 2389 msgs. )
    The Shop - ( 0 threads / 0 msgs. )
    The Germania Board - ( 18 threads / 6129 msgs. )
    The Acropolis - ( 0 threads / 2473 msgs. )
    Sales Room - ( 0 threads / 33 msgs. )

    .. etc.

Maybe a workaround to the outdated boards listed on top could be using CSS div code, table coding, class, positioning, (or other) to block them out. You could insert new, solid info there instead, use a banner or something, but you'd have to keep updating it. After blocking out what's there, generating new code ;-) to insert there is an option, too. But I wonder how much board info would end up there? Prolly a lot..
