I found this site while searching for info on the Cruithni or Pictish people of northern Alba. My son got me interested in our Scottish ancestry a few years back when he decided to take up Heavy Scottish Athletics and learned how to make his own kilt. After attending a couple of events with him, I was hooked and had to learn more!
Ahh- the wonder of finding a cultural heritage i belong to! The intrigue and adventure of seeking out the history and culture of my ancestors has been extremely fulfilling and quite frustrating as well!
I love my Scottish ancestry, but feel compelled more towards an even older and richer heraldry than that- the Cruithni blood in my veins calls to my sense of poetry and virve- calls to my very heart and soul.

Finding this site is encouraging and I look forward to exploring the resources and community here.
