Hi. I was reading your message regarding buying Native American. I no longer buy and sell Native American, but if you would contact the chamber of commerce for Las Vegas they can put you in touch with dozens and dozens of Native Americans who make some of the most beautiful jewelry and pottery you can imagine. At first you will probably be sent to the Navaho, but as you learn who is making what you will be sent to more and more people and before you know it will be able to open a shop of your own if you wish. One of my favorite craftspeople was a lady by the name of Anna Anka. She crafted sterling earrings and pottery for me. Unfortunately, I lost my book of craftspeople and this was long before I got into computers, so I don't have those names and numbers anymore, but the way I described to you is exactly how I got my first contacts. After I got to know some of them a bit better, I made the trip to the west and met many others. You will meet some of the most talanted and nicest people you can imagine. BTW. You are right about most of it being from China. Even in my homestate, supposed homemade toys will have China on them.
