Lucius Caesar still limps very slightly as he approaches his commander. Nero has just had his bath and is getting ready for another meeting with Queen Electra; he looks very relaxed.
"Hello Caesar, good to see you, I trust everything is okay?"
"Yes sir. Legions II, XIV and XVII are already on their way to Listra in Galatia and Legion VIII to Perge, following the Senate's approval of my father's SC. I've also sent Legion X ahead to be ferried to Italy by Classis VII which is currently in Perge; I told them to wait for your arrival before sailing, unless you want them to sail ahead while you take a trade ship home?
Legions VI, VII and XIX are still here in Pergamum with us. I received mail from Rome and it is possible that legion XIX will be ordered to go to Iconium at the end of the month so I thought it might as well wait on you.
Another issue I want to raise with you, sir, is my own discharge. It has been an honour to serve with you as your Military Quaestor. Now that the campaign is over, I would like to sail back to Rome as as soon as possible and run for Aedile. Do I have your permission to leave?"
