Revel in pleasure while your life endures
And deck your head with myrrh. Be richly clad
In white and perfumed linen; like the gods
Anointed be; and never weary grow
In eager quest of what your heart desires -
Do as it prompts you...
-- Lay of the Harpist
Near the Drunken Croc in the Egyptian quarter, and shaded by the tall palm trees that give it its name, is a small house that looks innocuous enough from the outside. There's no sign of an erect phallus outside or anything else that advertises the business or preferences of its owner - as befits a priest of the Hidden Shrine, he is far too discreet to offer blatant clues as to what the House of the Swaying Palms may offer its visitors.
Innocent tourists looking for no more than a drink may find themselves gently redirected to the Drunken Croc. However, those that come to the House of the Swaying Palms looking for sensual pleasures of a particular kind - maybe as the result of a well-phrased enquiry, or by recommendation from a friend - will find our exquisitely appointed rooms may be rented by the hour, the night, or for as long as your desire lasts. Our staff have been especially selected for their willingness to please our guests, and for a suitable payment special room services may be provided.
