The Palace of Laughter
My home has always been a place of laughter. After all, consider who my grandfather was. Oh, you don't know? Well, let me tell you...
I am the descendant of Aristophanes, the great Greek comedy play-write. Not only he, but his sons, one of whom was my father, entertained the people of Athens for two generations. In fact, their plays will be read and performed over two thousand years from now.
How is your Greek Mythology? My name is Thalia and I was named after the Muse of Comedy. Aptly named am I.
You will learn more about Lysistrata, my favorite of Aristophanes' plays at my home site. I hope you will visit and enjoy. Oh, one moment, please! It is a work in progress!
