Villa d' Reylari
Villa of the Lady Reylari Romulas
![]() ![]() The ancient Villa Reylari has been restored back to the original run down condition that it was in the time of the Great Reylarii. We had intended to tear down the Tudor cottage and make way for a combination car wash and bowling alley, but a group of public spirited relatives banded together and have managed to save it, and have declaired it a public shrine - with no taxes to pay. The big thing about the Great Reylarii was the excentricity. For instance, electric lights were in the villa as far back as 1912 - but because neighbors laughed at them, they were taken out and replaced with kerosene lamps. Visitors also get to see the attic which is stored with hundreds of National Geographics. Then down in the basement they will see two cats, and our trash cans, and more National Geographics. Outside there is a small parking area. They can park on the street also as long as they do not block the neighbors drive. A visit to the Reylarii Villa is a must in anyone's vacation plans. We are open from 9 to 5. Admission is five dollars for adults, two dollars for children, and eighty five cents for pets. This includes the vegtable garden out back, and allows for a fifteen or twenty second look at the bullet hole. The tour lasts about...four and a half minutes. __with homage to Bob Ray
