Extensive preparations are underway to celebrate
the birthday of The Divine Augustus
Join us September 23rd for a classic Roman banquet
brought to you by a woman who really ought not to be left alone around food: the poison queen, Livia Augusta. The food will be delicious, but be careful! You may go home with more than a tummy ache from stuffing yourself.
Banquet Room

While you wait, test your knowledge with a quiz by Senex Caecilius.
One moment, please. Your table is almost ready.
With a snap of the fingers, the head waiter rushes forward. "Davus we have a party of six for the Augustus room. I'm putting you in charge. Don't disapppoint me. Make them comfortable and extremely happy. You know what to do. We want them to come back and bring their friends."
*ahem* Excuse me ...
All of our dishes are made from scratch with the freshest ingredients. Each day a new menu is created here at Libera's Thermopolium. We continue all time favorites, grande cuisine mixed with new and upcoming haute cuisine. Never fear loyal diners, your favorite dish is always available upon request.
This month, we are featuring a selection of dishes made with Gaulish-style, dry-cured hams from Higgledy Piggledy Hams. May I suggest Gaulish Ham slices with asparagus, figs and sausage. The Ripe 'n' Ready Market delivers daily their locally grown, seasonal and delicious, farm-fresh produce. From The Silver Trails Snail Farm in Utica we can offer you snails from Africa Proconsularis. Of course, we always are well stocked with a local supply of dormice. Hardly any fleas.

Our wines? I'm glad you asked. We feature several wines, domestic and foreign. Allow me to recommend *whips out a wine menu* the fine wines of The Loving Cup Caupona. By Juno, I vouch for any wine from this Vintnery.
Have I mentioned that ALL our dishes are made from scratch with the freshest ingredients? Yes, it's true. No worries, dear patron, the staff of Libera's is here to make your dining experience pleasurable. Isn't that what living in Rome is all about? Enjoy!
