The Aventine Collegium salutes you!

Yaaaay! The Aventine is the third best Hood in AW!!!

The Aventine Hill is one of the seven hills on which ancient Rome was built. Its etymology is traced either from a Latin king, Aventinus. It was a strategic point in controlling trade on the River Tiber, and was fully fortified by 1000 AD.

So much for the encyclopaedia. This is where Rome is controlled. Looking poorly and muddy in the lower regions and more rich and splendid uphill, the Aventine is one of the pearls of the City. Situated straight on the banks of the Tiber, the Aventine controls the traffic on the river and thus the influx of grain and crops into the City, trade and commerce. So, who controls the Aventine, controls Rome. The collegia have a great deal to decide on the control of peace and steady commerce, so the Consuls do anything to make the collegia do as they wish. They have to pay a good price for that, though...

Here lives Happiness. Welcome! Check out the stock of the Aventine Head Vigil's HQ's Shop!

Hey, it's the place where I live and now spend lots of my time with my wife Eirene, my man Vorenus and all our friends, veterans of the Thirteenth Gallic Legion, rags and renegades (male and female!).
