Ancient Near East Research Society
A place for everyone to share about their readings/material on the Ancient History of the Near and Middle East - no member fee! Also, posts will be referenced and indexed to make your research easier!
![]() About the ANERSANERS stands for "Ancient Near East Research Society. The aim of this association is to regroup in one place as much academical resources about the Prehistory and Ancient History of the Near and Middle East, including regions like Anatolia up to the Black Sea, an area which played an essential part in the development of cultures in Europe, the Near and Middle East, and maybe even Asia, during the 6th millenium BC. The Society will have its own Archives, with reference material acquired by the Society (and belonging to it; which means that material copied elsewhere will not be tolerated!), as well as access to outside sources of information (Link Library). The Research Center will host all the original reflection of our members. Of course, facilities such as a Reception Desk and relaxing Gardens are open to both Readers and Non-Readers. Visit each section for more information (coming soon!) 13/01/07: New Link added in the Indus Room/new Archive entry in the Ancient Iraq section How to become a ReaderEasy enough, just ask for a personal Reader Card at the Reception Desk.
