Though there are several places at AW that touch on the Middle-Ages, there doesn't seem to be one place that's specifically geared to all aspects of it. I suppose it would be difficult since it is a topic that spans 7 of the 8 worlds.

The reason I chose Hastings as it's location is very simple. Some say the Middle-Ages began somewhere around A.D. 500, others when the Battle of Hastings occurred in 1066. Depending on where one is from, either time frame could be valid. As a result, there is no argument that by the time the Battle of Hastings was over, the world was firmly in the Middle-Ages (with the exception of the Americas...perhaps).

Not specifically a subject regarding Ancient times; however, our world today seems to have been radically bridged by this period.

I'd ask to create a group for this subject matter; however, since there are bits and pieces already floating around I chose not to. I've decided to simply put all the information I can gather into one small place.

Comment as you you see fit.
