Vayle-hall
Residence of Sir Galfrid of Vail
![]() Vayle-hall
The Vails are vassals of Lord Berkeley. They hold Gloucestershire manors at Tortworth, Charfield and Huntingford, and a manor, in the Vale of Glamorgan, at Llysworney. As a local magistrate, Galfrid of Vail opens his doors to travellers, visiting nobles, and peasants with complaints or requests. Vayle-hall, in effect, is a castle residence, inn, and court of justice.
