Family Homestead

Anarane's main home representing the location in Germany from where her father's family immigrated to the U.S. in the 1870's.

My real-life family is from the Bitburg area of the Rhineland-Palatinate of Germany. Once a part of the Kingdom of Burgundy, it is the reason I chose this surname when I joined Germania here at AW.

I have always been interested in researching the Bitburg/Eifel region of Germany and the history of immigration from this area to the United States. Therefore, I have created a thread to discuss geneology.
