Shuruppak

This city is probably most known as the home of the “Sumerian Noah”, Ziusudra. Because of this, it is fitting that Shuruppak is named as one of the five antediluvian cities. This city is located in south-central Sumer

According to the Sumerian King’s list, Shuruppak (Suruppak) was the last city to hold a King before the Flood. We cannot tell his whole name, for the first part of it is destroyed. We do know it was (?) du-du and that he reigned for 5 sars, 1 ner = 18,600 years. After his reign, the Flood came.
