Daidalidai belongs to the Kekropis tribe and it is one of the Asty (City) demes, compared to the Mesogaia (Inland) and Paralia (Coastal) ones belonging to other tribes. Our lovely deme is a wonderful and peaceful place to live as it is one of the smallest demes of the entire Attica. Actually, we send only one representative to the Boule, Athens' Council!

As you can all tell by its name, Daidalidai is mainly inhabited by craftsmen, and especially carpenters, who are specialised in the manufacture of the famous wooden statues called daidala.

Even if you are not a craftsman, you are most welcome to join us.
