Historical Background
Named after the legendery architect, inventor and craftsman Daidalos, who allegedly lived here, Daidalidai is one of the 100 Athenian demes.![]() Image Source: http://www.bulfinch.org/ As you can all tell by its name, Daidalidai is mainly inhabited by craftsmen, and especially carpenters, who are specialised in the manufacture of the famous wooden statues called daidala.
