Welcome to my little library of Minoan Novels. All of them tell about the time of bronze in the great green sea of the Aegean.

In the first section, you see a very brief summary statement for each of the books in the collection. At the end of the page you find detailed reviews of some of the books.

Moyra Caldecott, The Lily and the Bull, Mushroom, 1979

A readable and convincing novel, bringing the Minoans to life and showing them the way they have been seen mostly in the seventies. I can recommend the book to all who have stayed \"hippie\" somewhere in their heart. (See detailed review below)

Les Cole, The Sea Kings, House of Adda Press, 1996

Not a very convincing novel. However, lots of very interesting and well researched scenes about the life in the bronze age Levante make it worth while reading. (See detailed review below)

Suzanne Frank, Shadows on the Aegean, Warner Books, 1999

Not normally my type of novel. Better suited for Suzanne Frank fans who want to stop by in Atlantis on their way from \"Reflections in the Nile\" to \"Sunrise on the Mediterranean\". Judith Hand, Voice of the Goddess, Pacific Rim Press, 1999

Excellent novel, accurately bringing the Minoan world to life. (See detailed review below)

Vince&Sandra Peddle, The Moon Maiden, Blackie&Co, 2003

Of all novels about Minoan Crete this was the most stressful to read. Not because it was too demanding, but because it permanently hit my pain threshold. (See detailed review below)
