A 2004 reenactment of the assassination of Caesar
ADI will sponsor a combination of RP history posts and live chat in which the events of the last 3 weeks of Caesar's life will be recreated. The project terminates on the Ides of March in a site-wide chat! by: Heraklia Aelius
Casting is now complete for "The Ides of March!"
We had such a good response from our members who now want to help us recreate the last ten days of Caesar's life, that we have cast all major roles (a few smaller ones are still open, if anyone wants to join in!) We'll start a thread here at ADI beginning March 5 and, using our historical sources, 'recreate' the story of those last ten days; with the actual murder to be 'performed' in life chat the night of the Ides of March! Thank you to all those who so enthusiastically joined the 'cast'! I think most people recognize the Ides of March, but the fascinating political doings in those critical days leading up to it, offers us a real chance to share information for this, the most famous assassination in history. ~ Heraklia Aelius

Great Idea, both a thread and a chat!
I really find this absolutely great. I will be participating in the thread mostly, since the chat will be at times that I will not be able to participate, because of the enevitable time difference. The cast has already been passed around by Heraklia through email and several extra parts next to the orginal planned ones and extra info has been passed on already. Special personae, just for the thread and chat re-enactment are being or have been created. Good show.
