My poor notebook decided to crasch a few days after I got my PhD, so... I should be happy it didn't happen before... Almost, but not quite...
In fact, after the viva I finally had some days off and I was planning to spend them around AW and get involved in as much as I could, but... my PC crashed and... I passed through different states of mind

I lost the Rome's birthday celebration and all the other festivities of this period. And I was really sad, because I couldn't be around here.

Then some good things happened in my professional and private life, but again I was kept away from AW.

But now... things are going back to normal routine and my PC is also under control (i.e. until it crashes the next time, but now I know how to win over it!)... and I can finally be around AW again.

I was missing AW and I was missing all the great people that make it sucha wonderful place to be in!

Gee, I'll celebrate for days!

I finally got my PhD!

It was hard and it was long! And I'm gonna kill the next person I hear speaking of mobility of European researchers in Europe: it took me a year and a half to get a transfer from UK to Italy without loosing my credits!

But who cares now?! Today I had my viva and I finally heard the sentence I was longing for "I hereby declare you Philosophiae Doctor in...".

Oh my, it happened a few hours ago and I still can't believe it! I'm almost afraid it was just a dream! But, hey, I'll be dreaming the same dream tomorrow!!! Yeppa!
