Rose water and other floral scented waters have been used to soothe, excite and enhance for thousands of years. From floating petals and whole flowers in the bath, to mixing and making scented oils and waters to use for other purposes, aroma therapy is much older than we might think.

Rose water, most especially, has been a beauty secret since the ancients. Women love its effects on their skin and hair. Rose water not only soothes, but the vitamin C in the rose hips themselves, combine to create a soothing and effective soak.

Not to be confused with KHOL, a drum from the eastern parts of India, KOHL is an eye enhancer that has been used, virtually unchanged for thousands of years.

When applying Kohl, keep a smooth and steady hand. Try to apply in one continuous stroke with the applicator wand. The more controled the stroke, the more naturally exotic the eyes will appear. Make sure to put a very small dot of blue at the inside corners of the eyes, to brighten the whites of the eye itself.
