AW is About Groups ...

... and the members who post in them. Some are still active, many are not, and a few are truly dead. As we often say, "If AW is going to continue than we need a bit more active participation than we have now", but that only elicits a shrug of the shoulders.
What makes a successful group? I started one on Augustus (as a different persona) in early 2007, only to have RL difficulties interfere with my attendance. Long out of reading Augustus, I'm not qualified to lead.
I am, however, qualified to catalog all the groups at AW and listing when they were last posted to -- and other interesting bits I'm loading into a spreadsheet. It won't just be on Rome, either. Though tedious to enter the data, it should be of use to someone around here, and merely interesting to the rest of us.
