The blessings of Danu to you all.
Samhein has come and gone once again and now we rest during the dark half of our year.It is a time for warm fires, warm food, families, companions and stories! I continue with the writing of the saga of Fergus Mac Cailean, otherwise known a Fergus Dubh Pretchan Fergus the Black Crow). The writing goes slowly but the story is all there in my mind. I just need to commit it all to paper. |

How long since I have been here! It was not by my choice! My spirit is so very broken but still I live! I have promises and oaths to keep and so they shall be! |

I had many mixed emotions while in Eire. I love the land so much. I went to several old places and touched the stones. They were cold; near dead. My heart is sad. The people are forgetting who they are and the land; like an old, time ravaged woman who has been forgotten and abandoned; weeps quietly and alone. I have to bear part of the blame. I know and so am abligated. I must do more to try to bring back the old ways and the connection between mankind and the earth. |

Home to Eire!

Tomorrow I leave for home! It has been two long years since last I was there. This trip my niece and annim carraid, Ceiteag, will be going with me. She too carries the spirits of both fire and water, warrior and poet. It will be her first trip home in this life and I can hardly wait her soul to be reawakened. |
