I have wanted to get my SMILE Award up and running again for awhile now, there is one person who inspires and epitomizes the Smile award and she is active in my real life. I have tons of old friends but no one does for me what Shawnda does..She carts my butt all over the place (we get lost a lot) and she makes sure that what I want to happen, happens.
She's broke, I'm broke, but once I found out that I could put wreathes on my father's and grandparents graves, she picked me up, and she bought the wreathes, decorations, she put so much love, thought and work into it, we were decorating the wreathes like crazy, and I said "Shawnda you can't do this" but she did it anyway, she's a blessing that no one see's, she is taking me tomorrow a long haul to lay the wreathes on my family graves. She is a pefect example of a labor of love, she loves me and that is what the SMILE is all about. I'm getting it going again! We all need Shawnda's! :-)

Since I joined AW I've met some really wonderful people, I am a positive person and I love helping when I can, and meeting new people. Most of the people I've met here are more than willing to help with whatever need a body could have, usually if you yell, "Help!" You will find someone jumping in there to help, and sometime's you'll find help when you've never even asked for it.
Also there may have been someone you know that just goes out of their way to cheer people, help them etc without being asked, therefore I am going to create the SMILE award, it stands for Sensitivity, Merriment, Interest, Laughter, and Encouragement. If you know of someone you think deserves this award, let me know. Each month I will choose a winner and also post the runner's up along with the post of those who elected them.
So come on, who get's the first SMILE?!!

First SMILE Award goes to Laurels Curius, and I nominated her, she is the first person to answer any question, she manages to make you feel her good will and humor, and never makes you feel stupid for any question you ask. She is the epitomy of this award. The award may look lame, but, it's heartfelt and she deserves it :-)
