Well, here's a little bit about me for those who wonder and ask.
First of all, I'm not Icelandic! I know it may be misleading to have an Icelandic persona, but actually I'm Canadian. I have Icelandic ancestors, and that's what led me to the whole thing. Another reason why my persona is so developed is that I am a member of the SCA- That's the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc.
The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our "Known World" consists of 18 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which may feature tournaments, arts exhibits, classes, workshops, dancing, feasts, and more. Our "royalty" hold courts at which they recognize and honor members for their contributions to the group."

I live near Vancouver (see the Connexions group) and I love my home! Anyone intending to visit my area, please contact me and I will be pleased to direct you to what will interest you most!
I am a contract artist and I do many types of artwork: murals, illustration, web graphics, sculpture and much, much more. I'm trying to learn some code but frankly, I hate it and it's slow going.
I have a lot of interests, but over time it seems that they have all become entwined with history some way or another. That's why I am here!
Some things I do: clothes, armour, jewelry, leatherwork, woodwork, stained glass, lapidary work, needlework, carving in stone and bone. there's probaby more that I'm forgetting... I like making my own things because in general these days if you want something of quality that's what you must do. Of course, making period items you often HAVE to make them or you have no supplier!
I have a dog and a cat and a boyfriend, although not neccessarily in that order. I love animals of all kinds and I would have a menagerie if I could! Currenly I am waiting for my best friend to hurry up and breed her Pacific Parrotlets so I can have a hand-fed baby. Spring is coming! Breeding box goes in in April!
More when I think of more!
