The cold and dark have left us
The sun begins to warm us
We awaken and peak above the earth

Children's laughter opens us
Spring leads into Summer
It's our turn to shine

We are the flowers, plants and trees
Who sleep when winter reigns
To bloom with the tender hands of
Spring and Summer
