Why I Ought To Be Awarded the Pulizer Prize This Year
Posted at 02:00 EST
This is a parable. Or do I mean metaphor? Either way, I think I deserve the Pulitzer Prize.
You see, I speak and read English as a first language. I write reasonably well—and I might get better at it. I am trying to get better at writing. I have not yet sold any novels. But I might. I mean—I could. Someday. So it is reasonable for me to expect a Pulitzer Prize—right now this year—because I might, maybe someday, deserve one. And that is all I have to say on the subject.

What the [bleep] is the matter with the alleged 'singers' who are so [bleep] important now?

Is it so totally freaking impossible for anybody to carry a tune anymore? Apparently the answer to that is "yes--yes it is impossible." Nobody can sing the song as it's written. Everybody has to be a freaking diva, including the males (alleged males).
I'm not even talking about bad conduct by idiots like Kanye West.
Although I'm grateful to him that he was such an idiot because now I can admire Taylor Swift. And I DO admire her. She's a gracious person who is capable of performing in a professional manner-- singing on key no less-- despite being upset. She's also capable of answering questions without answering the question as asked--she's very good at making up her own question and answering that one. Lawyers REALLY admire that!
If she runs for president I'm going to vote for her.
