Go to their family page, then click on the 4 posts link. From there get the member number et voila!

Thanks Poh!

For non-demi's (Scribes may be able to do the above too)
From Poh again - danke Schatz!

The member must go log-in, make a post, then go to Dailies and link from there. The address that will show up in the browser is the "numeric" version of their home address. That then needs to be bookmarked or saved somehow as the only link that will reach their site. This can be added as a link on properties, and as a "signature" in messages and posts.

Valentines stuff - redux??

Silly aprils fool's stuff, or fake stories

Midsummer?

Interview with a vampire...Bane!!

Hoods updates
Archy stuff

Bane's answers:

1. My favorite word? Hmmm…I am fond of my name, mind you this wasn’t my given name. Once I accepted it, I couldn’t remain myself. Bane can be neatly paired with other words to create misery and woe. Henbane, wolfsbane, dragonsbane…I supposed I liked the sound of it. Don’t you?

2. Least favorite word? Dearest Anarane, your questions really must be more engaging, but for now I shall indulge you. I haven’t so much a word, but a phrase, “Kill the Devil’s spawn.” I wasn’t spawned nor do I know of the devil. Just because I drink blood doesn’t make me an evil person nor should it reflect my desire to live. Yes, love, I know a bit funny with the wording, but you understand I am most assured. I blame the society for my way of life now. So it’s appropriate to repay the debt I feel. The name fits.

3. Oh, dear an interesting question and one I can answer simply! A pulse can answer all three inquiries. Just to feel that throbbing vein beneath your teeth right before you plunge in is just so charging in more ways than one! The emotional part gives way to the creativity…and mmmm…it’s hard to hit the spiritually… but generally it comes after the creativity. Vampires aren’t picky about the partners as long as they are beautiful, if you get my meaning, lovely one. Remind me to demonstrate that later…

4. The sunlight most definitely turns me off. I don’t need to explain that one…

5. Curse word…I shall have to think about that one. They have changed so much over the last centuries…

6. A nice soft growl or whimper for release or mercy, just tickles my extra sensitive preternatural sensories!

7. Mobs are so noisy and having someone spouting prayers at you before you have enough proper time to even rise! The indignity I tell you! Never once I have taken a sleeping victim willing or not. Sure I may impose a bit of my will compelling them to come to me, but it’s their free will to come to me or not! I am blameless, especially if dinner is dumb enough to poke his or her nose into my resting area.

8. Profession other than being a vampire? Are you mad! Vampirism suits me quite fine, once you get over the change.

9. Sweet, sweet, Anarane, what did I say about these questions?! My patients are about run out, you sitting there all adrenaline spiked. I can hear your pulse calling to me…Fine! I shall answer your question. Being a lifeguard, the sun would just be horrific…Besides, I am an anti-lifeguard, am I not?

10. You make me laugh! This question is to make up for the last one? Not sure “heaven” or “God” have much to do with me, even if they did exist…I haven’t met the Devil so how can one say “God” exists? Lovey, must you sit there on the end of your seat, with your bosom heaving so at me? It’s a distraction and won’t so much get me to answer your questions any fasters. I could use a snack you know. Besides, ”God,” I don’t think would have much to say. I never was part of his flock. Much more barbaric…those gods might say something to the effect of, “Great…what do we do with this one?”

wonderful! oh, as I told you, you'll have to post a fox in Wanderings for me. If Solvejg or Desi breaks a leg - I hope not! - will you post the foxes in Valinor and Age of Chivalry too? It HAS to be those groups because the clues have been written for them.

More Varangian Way Stuff Posted at 18:00 EST
Norv is BY FAR the best expert we have on that aspect of Germania, between what he and Aria have posted, I pretty much defer to them. What he just messaged to you makes total sense to me. Here's what input I have...

Since 1/4 of my ancestry is Baltic, I know that there was a huge Germanic influence in Estonia, Latvia (where Grobin is), and even a bit in Lithuania for centuries. There actually were two major influences:
1. Scandinavian (earlier), when the Swedish kingdom was at its largest. (I remember this was a high point of culture for Latvia: e.g. The bible was first translated into Latvian under Swedish rule).
2. German. The Christianization of the Baltics was undertaken by the Teutonic Knights, who founded Latvia's capital, Riga, in AD 1200. For centuries afterwards many last names in Latvia, I think especially of nobles, were German names. E.g., my grandfather's last name (and mine) was Estonian, but his wife's name was Trautman--very German!

Oh yeah: so we could do a generic Baltic realm. I could research this aspect if so. Otherwise the 8 realms of the Varangian Way that Norv suggested sound good to me.
