All Places Irish Posted at 16:30 EST
This journal entry is really an ongoing effort. Lots and lots (I hope) links to All Places Irish.

Here you'll find all kinds of places to explore a lot of my favorite ancient and historical sites about Ireland outside of AW. Links will open a new browser window, so if you have pop-ups suppressed, so what you need to do to allow the new window to open.

Find it Ireland
Megalithomania A delicious site filled with images and descriptions of ancient tombs, mounds, stone circles and much more in Ireland.
BurrenPage The Burrens (pronounced "burnz") is one of Ireland's best kept secrets. The Burrens is limestone, history and magic all rolled into one of rarest places on the planet.
Link to The Celtic Grounds website
An award-winning, rich, well-developed site about ancient Celt history, their migration, culture and much more.

Not everything is Irish :) Posted at 12:15 EST
I'm finding some really great sites that cross boundaries and borders. Here's one I found last night. What a find! The author of the site has taken texts which have fallen out of copyright and scanned them, then posted them to this site. It's called Sacred Texts. And if you really like the site, it's at risk of disappearing due to finances, so if you can support it by purchasing a CD-ROM, I hope you'll do so. A little quote from their site:

"The Internet Sacred Text Archive CD-ROM includes electronic texts of nearly a thousand of the most important books and articles ever written, including over two hundred transcribed specially for sacred-texts. Years of extensive research and scholarship went into this CD-ROM: all the core texts of religion, mythology, folklore and the esoteric are on one disk. "
