Those New Worlders!!

I have been sick with a stomach virus, fever and chills.
My family is in Missouri for Thanksgiving and I am sick on the sofa.
I blame these New Worlders with their strange customs and germs.
Time to rest on the sofa again....

I miss New York but I like some things about the South.
NO Snow! I don't miss the white stuff at all.
Living is slower and more casual. I like that.
The people are friendly.
I don't like the BIG bugs and humidity. I don't like worrying from June to November if we are going to get hit by a hurrican.
This town has no public transportation or Taxi cabs.
They are just starting to put some sidewalks in.
The downtown is just now getting renovated from Katrina, 5 years ago.
The family is here...so I am here. |
