Bird Watching Posted at 11:00 EST
Take a look at the two birds below. Study them closely and watch their habits. See if you can spot which of the two is the female. It can be done, even if you have no skills whatsoever in bird watching...

It takes a keen eye…

Watch closely…

Funny Blond joke Posted at 23:00 EST
Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with those expensive double-pane energy efficient kind. But this week I got a call from the contractor complaining that his work had been completed a whole year ago and I had yet to pay for them.

Boy oh boy, did we go around. Just because I'm blonde doesn't mean that I am automatically stupid.

So, I proceeded to tell him just what his fast talking sales guy had told me last year... that in one year the windows would pay for themselves.

There was silence on the other end of the line so I just hung up and I haven't heard back.

Guess I won that stupid argument!

Cougars are awesome!! Posted at 00:00 EST
Alright, I am an alumni of Washington State University and I just had to get it off my chest about how great the Cougs are! They DOMINATED a very good Texas football team the other night. It also goes to show the strength of the Pac-10 as a football conference. The Pac-10 is one of the toughest conferences in the nation, yet year after year they get the shaft in strength of schedule. The east coast/midwest bias of the sports media has more than once cost a Pac-10 team a shot at the national championship (Pac-10 was 4-2 in bowl games this year, Big-10 was 3-4, Big 12 was 1-5). This years fiasco with USC is just the latest example. LSU may have the trophy, but most right thinking football fans in America know that the championship game should have included USC (btw, did you all notice that the only team to beat USC this year, California, beat Virginia Tech in a bowl game?).

Still, this started off as an ode to WSU Cougars, and it will end there. In a year when they were expected to do nothing, the Cougs went 10-3 and beat the #5 team in the nation in a bowl game. GO COUGS!

Mommy dearest Posted at 12:20 EST
Unable to control things at AW Anon, P. Diddy and the SRotKU have decided to call a truce. That is good for P. Diddy, since her duties would inevitably demand she do other things at AW than launch unprovoked attacks on her colleagues!
The P. Diddy attack Posted at 11:44 EST
P. Diddy attacked the Surpreme Ruler yesterday at AW Anonymous. This unprovoked attack led many to wonder about the worthiness of Princess Di to remain among the ruling elite of AW Anonymous. The SRofKU responded with dignity and pride, refusing to let the attack alter his stature.

Still, some unknown vandal has broken into the AW Anonymous database and changed the title of P. Diddy. No longer is Diantha Princess Di, or even P. Diddy. Now she is to be known as Teeny Weeny Tiny whiney Di.

Bullocks Posted at 16:15 EST
I just read Caius Livius' journal and I have to say that it is bullocks. I don't think I am stupid, but there is no doubt that Caius outstrips me in so many cranial areas it isn't even funny. Well, it might be funny, just not to me, I suppose. Anyway, I have no problem taking back seat to some one I respect so much as Caius Livius.
Visits Posted at 09:00 EST
There is little that is more gratifying than having one's work appreciated. While I have been surprised at the number of visit's to my journals, it does feel nice to see that people find my comments interesting.

I must admit to being a little nervous when one of our Divine Demi-gods dropped by. I didn't want to get demoted.

On this day, I feel I should give thanks to those who have made me what I am today. Thanks to the Curia, for providing great entertainment. Thanks to the Scribes for all the great work you have put into this site. Even if you sometimes pissed off the cybergods. Thanks to Victoria for being a great advertiser. There are just so many people. Thanks to my fans, and my family. Thanks everyone!

Feelings! Posted at 22:19 EST
This one is probably much more accurate about being random thoughts. Have you ever noticed that people at AW are very sensitive? Why is that? We all hide behind these avatars. We can act and talk like someone totally different than we are. Yet many of us put our hearts on our (virtual) sleeves, so to speak. We allow ourselves to be hurt and insulted by others here. Seems rather silly.
