new look and whatnot

gonna be lazy on coding this entry as I've been doing that for days in various guises and places in AW. *g* but anyhows, got the Sanctuary redesigned and updated. took a LONG trip down memory lane for the ever-beloved and totally wacky Kash Bowl. got the Crafts Corner group set up for us fanatic crafters. did some updating on the KB sports group since the Olympics are coming soon, and been checking in and being creative with my Morna nick.
let's just say I've been a busy gal here! :)
still waiting on my honey to get home, and for my son to finish up his stuff so he can get down here.
still doing my other businesses and keeping house and being an accountant and organizer and family gal. man, wish I could have my kitties with me. I miss them so much!!
I'll keep doing what I can here. Oh yeah, and Jot owes me a cup of coffee!!!!! that rascal! ;)

home at last!

I've been traveling with my sweetie for over a month! First, we drove from Florida to Dallas. There for a couple of days before driving up to Springfield, Missouri for a family reunion (which was awesome!). Then back to Dallas and then drive down to Houston to work. We drive all over the Houston area for a few days, then they send us down to the McAllen-Brownsville area (down by the US-Mexico border). Back up to Houston, then they send us back to Dallas to help with another campaign. Another few days then we drive back to Houston. *groan* The company wants to keep my fiance for another 6 days and I put my foot down since by this time I'm totally road-warriored out. *grin* So, I fly back to Dallas till he returns. Then we pack up all my stuff and head back to Florida. We get back home, unpack and rest a day, then drive to Orlando for our monthly work up at Disney. We got back at 10 pm last night.
Whew! Time to catch up with everything from mail to putting away my stuff from Texas.

for AW newbies

was chatting with a new Aussie this eve, and she mentioned running out of grams. oh yeah, and she was hanging in chat by her lonesome---might be a good idea for us oldies to hang in chat to meet the newbies?
I'm thinking that perhaps Jot could give newbies a month of unlimited grams and posts so that they can fully enjoy what the community offers.
just a quickie thought while I sorta watch some Harry Potter flick on tv. :)

my guy is working out of town till who knows when (maybe Tuesday) so the place is super quiet. *eek* definitely not something I'm used to...and I don't even have my kitties to keep me company since they are still in Texas. *sobs*
but I've been keeping busy with my crochet projects, some other creative thingies, semi-watching HBO movies on the tube, reading The Quest by Wilbur Smith (a historical fiction novel set in Egypt), and reading the involved and passionate discussion 'bout fests. ;)
got my new blog up to yik-yak 'bout my projects: The Pink Parlour ... as if I needed another place online to mess with *lol*!!
still gotta deal with coding my online store, which I hope to have up some time next week (waiting on my re-sale tax id --- arg! bureaucracy!).
btw, check out the new Mercedes Benz SCL600....lordy, lordy...I'd wreck that thing the minute I got behind the wheel *grin*!

which is something I can't figure out. heck, I can't even figure out who is a current scribe. the whole hidden persona thingee. i'm old. my brain ability for remembering that stuff is nil. *lol*
so...I can't figure who is a recycled scribe, who is an actual new scribe, who even wants to be a new suffering scribe. who the Hades is who. ya, who is a true SE. who is a true unique scribe.
let's face it. AW is full of the same ole folks in differing disguises. I'm actually shocked any time a "REAL" new person signs up and sticks around. and keeps posting *gasp*. oh, and ends up a scribe.
nothing wrong with calling a spade a spade. one really needs to learn to wade past the AW illusions. ;)

I never knew it...but her life sounds 'bout like mine...the fam ties, the chaos, the end-of-yer-scribalhood-days-in-a-funk-burnt-out days.
okies, I don't feel so very terribly guilty now. *laughs*
